Leela's Recovery

We were alerted by a concerned neighbor to a litter of kittens living outside a synagogue in Brooklyn. Several of the kittens were sick and needed immediate care. We trapped 4 kittens and TNR'd their mom. Leela was one of two kittens who needed to have an eye removed, as a result of an untreated infection that had permanently damaged the eye tissue. She recovered well and was soon adopted along with her litter mate, Emil. This polydaktyl beauty doesn't let her one-eyed "pirate" status slow her down!

Strut With Us!

Want to have fun for a good cause on Saturday, October 6th? Sign up to be a member of Infinite Hope's 2018 Strut Your Mutt team and join us for a walk in Hudson River Park in New York City! Strut Your Mutt is a national fundraising campaign for animal welfare groups, raising funds for local rescue efforts. Infinite Hope gets to keep 100% of the funds raised by our team (other than processing fees) and all of that money will go toward animal rescue! Become a team member to join us on October 6th, or make a donation to support Infinite Hope. The walk culminates with a festival Pier 84 with contests, vendors, and fun!

Clara goes from homeless to healed!

Clara was found on the street, scavenging for food scraps. He is a friendly, outgoing cat and clearly wasn't used to living outside. Once he was brought into care and examined by a vet, it was discovered that he needed surgery to repair a diaphragmatic hernia. Infinite Hope applied for support from the AMC (Animal Medical Center) To The Rescue program and he was approved for surgery! Clara is now fully recovered and looking for his forever home. He is about 2 years old and is the ultimate couch potato - his favorite activities are snuggling and naps!

Special kittens in the news

Two kittens recently rescued by Infinite Hope caught the attention of the publishers of Love Meow. Daktyl and Morela were trapped by Infinite Hope volunteers on a cold winter day and once they were in care, we realized that there was something special about them. It turned out that they have chromosomal abnormalities that give them their unique look. Love Meow published an article about these beautiful siblings, which helped to find their perfect forever home. Daktyl and Morela's story continues on their adopters' Instagram page: theparsonspets.
